Batavia, Ohio. A swearing in ceremony will be held for new Clermont County Municipal Court Judge George Pattison on Friday, December 9, 2011, 4 p.m., at Clermont County Municipal Court, located at 4320 SR 222 in Batavia. Twelfth District Court of Appeals Judge Robert Ringland will swear Pattison into office.
Pattison won the seat in the November election. He previously has served five years as an assistant prosecutor, and eight years as the Clermont County Prosecuting Attorney; he is currently a defense attorney in Clermont County. Pattison has practiced law in Clermont County Municipal Court since 1975. He will fill four years of the unexpired term previously won by Judge Thomas Herman.
“I look forward to serving my community as a Municipal Court Judge,” said Pattison. He invites friends and family to a brief reception beginning at 3 p.m.
