Bethel Holiday Celebration

Judi Adams invites the entire community to attend the ninth annual Bethel Down Home Christmas Celebration on Saturday, December 3, 2011.

Batavia, Ohio. The ninth annual Bethel Down Home Christmas Celebration will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011. “We invite the entire community to come out and enjoy this daylong event that features a breakfast with Santa, an opportunity to purchase unique holiday gifts and decorating items, kids crafts, and a parade,” said event organizer Judi Adams. “I encourage people to call now to sign-up for the popular breakfast with Santa that will be held at 9 that morning at Bethel Tate High School. The number to call for reservations is 734-1462.”

Adams expects a big turnout of people donating cans of food at Community Savings Bank on Plane Street. For every can of food donated to the American Legion, people will get a ticket to enter a drawing for an iPad. “Bring 20 cans of food and you get 20 chances to win!” said Adams.

Thousands of people are expected to line the streets of Bethel for the Down Home Christmas Celebration. “All of our local shops look nice with decorated store windows,” she said. “After the big parade at 6 in the evening, we will award prizes for the best decorated store window and much more during an old fashioned Christmas carol sing-a-long at Burke Park.” For more information about the Bethel Down Home Christmas Celebration, visit the website www.BethelOhEvents.com.
