Batavia, Ohio. The 36th annual Pumpkin Run will be held September 30, October 1, and October 2, 2011 at the Clermont County Fairgrounds in Owensville; it is one of the largest car shows in southwest Ohio. “We expect over 3,000 1970-model or older cars and around 15,000 people to attend the event sponsored by the Fastiques Rod and Custom car club,” said Fastiques member Frank Witt. “What’s really great about the Pumpkin Run is that so much of the profit is given back to the community. Last year, our non-profit was able to give $50,000 to the Shriners’ Burns Center, along with supporting other charities.”
Witt said that people attend the event from all over the country; most drive their vintage cars here. “In addition to the amazing cars on display, we have all kinds of competitions, games and events for children and families, lots of food and live music,” he said.
