Batavia, Ohio. The Ohio State University (OSU) Extension-Clermont will hold a 4-H Open House on Saturday, February 18, 2012 in the 4-H Hall at the Clermont County Fairgrounds, located at 1000 Locust Street in Owensville. The 4-H Open House will run from 10 a.m. until noon. 4-H club members and advisors will be available at the open house to answer any questions that children or their parents may have about joining 4-H. 4-H members may choose from over 200 projects, including robotics, sewing, cooking, photography, animal science, and more!
To become a 4-H member, a child must be 8 years of age and in third grade, as of January 1, 2012. Clermont County also offers Clover Sprouts Youth Development for children 4 – 5 years old; the Cloverbud Program is open to children, age 5, and enrolled in kindergarten as of January 1, 2012. Youth are eligible to participate in 4-H until the age of 19.
