Batavia, Ohio. The Clermont County Transportation Improvement District (CCTID), in cooperation with the Clermont County Engineer’s Office, Union Township, and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), will host an open house on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, to obtain community input for the Tina Drive Extension Project. The open house will be held from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the Union Township Civic Center, located at 4350 Aicholtz Road.

The Tina Drive Extension Project will evaluate options to connect Tina Drive, between Bells Lane and Summerside Drive, to the local roadway network. The proposed new roadway is needed to provide improved access and connectivity for the surrounding residential neighborhoods, currently utilizing the Bells Lane intersection at SR32. The Bells Lane intersection at SR32 will be removed by ODOT, as a part of the I-275/SR32 interchange reconstruction project.
Exhibits of the study area and plans showing the I-275/SR32 interchange reconstruction project will be on display at the meeting and representatives from Clermont County, ODOT, Union Township, and the project team will be available to answer questions and gather comments prior to developing preliminary engineering concepts for the project. The meeting will be conducted in an “open house” format, which means that citizens are welcome to attend anytime in that two hour meeting timeframe. Comment sheets will be provided. To accommodate those who may not be able to attend this open house, exhibits, handouts, and comment forms will remain available for review at the Union Township Civic Center until March 10, 2010.
