Clermont Child Support Now Accepting Credit Card Payments
Batavia, Ohio. Those owing child support and employers can now enjoy the convenience and
flexibility of utilizing credit card payments for Clermont County child support cases. In
cooperation with Clermont County Child Support and the Board of Clermont County
Commissioners, Official Payments Corporation offers individuals and businesses the opportunity
to pay child support by telephone or directly over the internet with MasterCard and Discover
cards.
This service is safe, reliable, and in accordance with all state and government regulations. In
order to process a payment, Official Payments Corporation, the credit card service provider,
charges a convenience fee based on the amount of the transaction. This fee is not collected by
Clermont County Child Support and does not replace court ordered administrative fees.
To pay by credit card call the toll-free number 1-800-272-9829 or visit
www.ClermontSupportsKids.org. Payments will not be accepted for child support orders made
outside of Clermont County, and may be rejected for insufficient or inaccurate posting
information. Payments will be posted approximately four to five business days after the
transaction and after the funds have settled in the local child support bank account.
To make telephone or internet payments to child support accounts, individuals must have their
social security number, child support case number, and credit card information. In addition, for
telephone payments, individuals must enter jurisdiction code 4529 when prompted.
The system will total all payments to include the calculated convenience fee, will obtain approval
of the charge, and will issue a confirmation number that will appear on credit card statements.
The system also offers a printable digital receipt on the internet payments.
