The Clermont County Local Emergency Planning Commission (LEPC) will hold meetings on the following dates in 2011:

All meetings are held in the Emergency Operations Center, located at 2279 Clermont Center Drive in Batavia; the meetings will run from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
LEPCs are a requirement of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986; they are county organizations responsible for receiving all information and industry reports pertaining to extremely hazardous substances in the county. The group also writes and reviews the county Chemical Emergency Response and Preparedness Plan to ensure citizens are properly protected.
